“Batman!” Two-Face grumbled.

The display case dangled like a piñata from a Batrope looped over the catwalk. Batman stood nearby holding the other end of the rope in his hands.

Two-Face worried that he had lost the coins. He would lose his freedom next if he didn’t do something. Two-Face shoved one of the giant prop coins with all his strength. It started to roll. The huge coin headed toward the partygoers crowded in the exits.

“Choose, Batman! Let go of the rope so you can save those people, or hang onto it and watch innocent people be crushed,” Two-Face said. He flipped his scarred coin. The scratched face landed upright.

“I’m not the one bound to the decision of the coin, Two-Face,” the Dark Knight reminded his foe.

Batman ran toward the rolling coin while still holding the Batrope. The display case zoomed up even higher out of Two-Face’s reach. Batman leaped onto the top of the giant prop and ran on its edge like a lumberjack on a rolling log. He guided the coin away from the frightened crowd.

“I’ve struck out twice, but the game isn’t over yet, Batman,” Two-Face said as he used the distraction to escape.
